Module 1 Chapter 4 Assignment 4

Q Introduction to Soc: Ch4 Basics: You are going to read Chapters , watch my zoom videos on them, and submit two paragraphs via here. Answer these two items: 1. Kawamoto question: You and Bronfenbrenner. Pick two systems and talk about you or someone in fiction. For example: "Indiana Jones lived during WWII and fought Nazis. This element of his Chronosystem is important because if he were alive today, I think if he would be a part of Antifa. His Exosystem was working in a college in the United States. This is significant because he was a white male in the forties. Colleges didn't hire many non-white male professors back then." Get it? 2. Get Eriksonian. Pick a stage in lifespan development, and reflect. Either connect to your life or something else.

Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological System Theory is small yet complex at the same time. It contains the Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem, and Chronosystem. For instance, if Superman lived during the time of the Civil War and fought with the confederates, this would be the Chronosystem. The result of him helping with the confederates would have resulted in the United States losing and slavery still being permitted today. This would be part of Superman’s Exosystem since he would have helped in that fight and would have been partially responsible for slavery continuing.
